System overview
SS430 combines a sensitive monochrome camera with optically corrected wide-angle viewing. The November 6, 2025 family sheet names all three housing models. Its aluminum mechanical table is used only for SS425; older model-specific steel/titanium geometry remains clearly identified as historical.
Applications
- Subsea inspection
- ROV camera integration
Key features
- Sensor / resolution: 1/2.8-inch BSI CMOS, 1935×1097; 570 TVL EIA/CCIR.
- Sensitivity: 0.0001 lux at F1.4, gain 72 dB, shutter off; 0.000007 lux at F1.2, gain 72 dB, shutter ×15.
- SNR / output: >45 dB; 1 Vp-p, 75 ohm.

Configuration options
Housing and integrationConfiguration
Select connector, lens/port assembly and pressure rating. Historical mechanical references require confirmation against the current camera revision.
Compatibility and naming
Current family sheet supplies aluminum geometry only; model-specific current manual and integration drawing are required.
Datasheets & documentation
SS425 / SS430 / SS435 — Subsea cameras — specification
Applies to the named models and revision only. Housing, interface and performance differences must follow the individual model tables. Source discrepancies are recorded on the ROVITEC product pages; request the approved specification before integration.
SS430 Low-Light Optically Corrected B&W Camera — specification
Historical model-specific mechanical reference. Current shared imaging/electrical values are in the November 2025 SS425/430/435 family sheet. Do not mix historical electronics and current camera specifications.
