System overview
The TrueAxis SS250MKV uses absolute encoder feedback to report position at power-up without a homing routine. The October 2025 family datasheet identifies SS250MKV, SS251MKV and SS252MKV by housing material and mass. This page follows those model names; the current web heading says MKIV, so the exact order code and hardware revision must be confirmed before specification.

Configuration options
Legacy upgradeService option
SIDUS offers an upgrade for existing SS250 equipment. Confirm unit serial number, hardware condition, resulting revision and the documented MKIV/MKV naming discrepancy.
Compatibility and naming
Current web heading and upgrade page use MKIV, while the internally dated October 2025 datasheet identifies MKV. Order code and revision require confirmation. Inch/mm dimensions and air-filled depth conversion also disagree.
