Q-DVL sonar array

Doppler sonar modules for FIFISH station holding, navigation and collision avoidance.

Q-DVL fuses Doppler velocity and distance observations with vehicle IMU, depth and heading data. Downward four-beam and forward inline three-beam designs serve different geometries: seabed navigation and inspection of vertical or curved structures. It is a configured sensor range, not one universal module with one shared specification.

Navigation and positioning

Architecture: Forward inline three-beam and downward four-beam modules; exact integration is model dependent.
Published family range: Downward station-lock height range up to 0.1–100 m. E-MASTER NAVI specifies 0.15–60 m; do not interchange these ratings.
Forward operation: Forward station lock, distance tracking and collision avoidance.

Compatibility and naming

E-MASTER NAVI, W6 NAVI and X1 document built-in Q-DVL configurations. E-GO and V6 EXPERT list optional station-lock/DVL equipment. Module and firmware must be matched to the host.
